  • Manage a small team (Set clear expectations, providing guidance and feedback)
  • Ensure purchase orders placed flow through the eProcure system flow without any issues through the payment process.
  • Conduct daily CCTV checks to ensure all cameras are functional.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives, including the implementation of 5S principles for workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Building Security (badges, keys, security paperwork management)
  • Manage vendors and review / process purchase orders ensuring processing, accuracy, and timely approval.
  • Resolves problems and customer service inquiries within scope of authority; provides advice and assistance to and external agencies.
  • Optimize the use of space within the facility, including office layouts, storage, and common areas.
  • Manage facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, or installations.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee the recycling program (Ensuring DBS continues to lower our environmental impact)
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities management, including environmental standards and recycling initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the office activities (e.g. ordering supplies, management and scheduling maintenance of office equipment, tracking visitors, etc.)
  • Oversees office maintenance, property janitorial and maintenance staff including coordination with landlords.
  • Receive visitors and colleagues’ vendors, maintenance personnel, etc. for the office.
What You Need To Succeed (Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Attributes)
  • Consistently lift up to sixty pounds in standing, bending, and rotating motions; operate fork lift; and in some cases perform tasks in inclement weather conditions.
  • Must be able to operate a variety of equipment such as a computer, and have strong organizational, inventory, and accounting skills.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
  • General understanding of Forklifts, HVAC, & Recycling required.
  • Generally prefer 2-4 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • This is a senior position .
