Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system or utilize handheld devices for order processing
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Upsell additional items or specials to increase sales revenue
- Process payments using cash registers or handheld devices
- Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing
- Familiarity with reservation management systems such as OpenTable
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing exceptional guest services
- Knowledge of culinary terminology and menu items to assist guests with their selections
- Ability to effectively upsell menu items to enhance sales revenue
- Proficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
