• High performing candidates may be considered for promotion to shift lead after completion of their barista training.

BARISTA JOB DESCRIPTION The primary responsibility of all Dazbog team members is to provide Legendary Customer Service at all times, meeting and exceeding customer needs with a high level of product knowledge, artful presentation, speed of service, and teamwork.

• ​Ensure that we are always serving the highest quality coffees, teas, and food products
• Participate in all scheduled training in order to expand knowledge and hone skills
• Prepare hot and cold drinks according to Dazbog standards

• Share knowledge with customers accurately and confidently

PRESENTATION

• Reflect pride and enthusiasm, constantly increase customer knowledge
• Demonstrate ownership and pride in our store by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of the store's interior and exterior
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

• Strive to be the most knowledgeable about your craft
• Manage transactions with a high level of accuracy and honesty

• Complete assigned tasks and assist co-workers with their tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and respect

• Dress, grooming, and personal appearance appropriate for working with the public and adhering to the standards set forth in the Dazbog Employee Handbook
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Good common sense and judgement; sound decision-making skills

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Cleaning all areas of the facility
• Extending a warm greeting to all customers
• Interacting naturally with customers and co-workers
• Performing all opening and closing duties
• Being thoroughly familiar with and able to prepare all menu items
• Serving customers in a timely, consistent manner
• Displaying a high level of product knowledge
• Stocking products and paper goods
• Wrapping baked goods
• Answering the telephone, taking call-in orders, and taking messages accurately
• Being thoroughly familiar with all policies, procedures, and systems
• Following all customer service guidelines
• Promptly reporting any customer complaints to the manager on duty
• Generating additional sales whenever possible by suggesting additional menu items to the customer
• Thanking each customer for his or her business
• Upholding the image of Dazbog Coffee Company at all times
• Reporting to management when equipment needs service or inventory is low
• Following all company policies and procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
