Position: General Factory Operator

Location: Dayton Rogers of MN

• Wage depending on qualifications

Description:

• Function to produce parts to customer specifications in a safe and timely manner.
• Work safely, promote safety and abide by all safety rules
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Operate a pallet jack and forklift
• Read and understand prints, job cards, and work instructions to determine specifications, locations of product features, and special instructions.
• Measure parts to quality plan to verify conformance using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, and/or rulers.
• Actively initiate and conduct problem solving to affect productivity and quality improvements.
• Complete routine paperwork, including inspection records, check sheets, and quality non- conformance tags.

Qualifications:
Required:

• Ability and willingness to learn
• Flexible to cross-training and perform tasks in multiple departments as needed
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience with finish grinding
• Work in a team oriented environment

Desired:

• Ability to accurately use caliper, micrometer, height stand, etc.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Sheet metal fabrication experience (turret, sheet laser, brake press)
• Metal stamping experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
