Job Title: Resident Advisor (DSP) Caring and responsible people needed to provide support to loving and kind individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities in home and community settings.

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Third Shift Awake Night- 7 On 7 Off as follows. 

Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9pm-9am, Sunday 8pm-8am. Week 2: Monday 10pm-9am, Tuesday 9pm-9am, Wednesday 9pm-8am

Purpose:

• To provide support, supervision, care and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the promotion and reinforcement of individual growth and development. We encourage employees to bring their personal passions to Dayspring - whether you have a passion for cooking, reading, art, music - we have an individual wanting learn a new skill.
• To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, secure, and pleasant environment.
• To assist in the development and implementation of Participant Individual Service Plans. This help the individual learn and grow.
• To support Participants in their growth towards greater independence in self-care, daily living skills, socialization, and community engagement

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A high school Degree or General Equivalency Diploma required; one year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities preferred.

· At least 21 years of age

· Good expressive and receptive communication skills, both oral and written

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License

· Ability to pass pre-employment physical
