DaySmart Software is Hiring a Remote Sr. Software Developer
- Maintaining the existing code base by fixing bugs and making improvements as needed.
- Mapping real-world customer issues to product solutions.

- As a small, highly productive team we value the ability to take initiative and be a self-starter above all else.
- Significant experience building web apps with PHP.
- Experience working on large codebases and are comfortable reading, debugging, and enhancing existing code.
- A basic level of proficiency with vanilla JavaScript.
- Experience with Laravel.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases at scale.
- Bonus Points (not required but would be hugely beneficial)
- AlpineJS and/or jQuery experience (we are slowing migrating our old code away from jQuery but still have a large portion of it in production).
- Experience developing cloud ready (AWS) products and/or migration products to the cloud.
- Experience working remotely.
- Knowledge of and experience building out a REST API.
- Time To Pet is a remote team with an office in Austin, TX. We generally like to see the team once a week in the office but Time To Pet is built as a remote team first.
