Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data in our computer system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Enter data into the computer system with speed and accuracy
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is properly filed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills:
- Proficient in order entry and data collection
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with computerized systems and databases
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills for effective file management
