Summary:

This position is responsible for the clinical services, care management and programming for two counties that DAYMARK Recovery Services has a service location. This position reports directly to the preventative care regional director. This position is responsible for all local preventative clinical and care management operations and compliance will all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Offers on-going mentoring, coaching and training to staff. Assures adequate staffing at all times to meet service demand and that staff meet all training requirements. This position is the community liaison between DAYMARK Recovery Services and the community at large and is often the spokesperson for DAYMARK Recovery Services to the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, IPRS/NC State, Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Maintains care and compliance with all rules for the facility.
  • Monitors all expenses and ensures that expenditures are within proposed budget for the center. Assist with development of center budget. Provides clinicians with assistance on productivity standards, both monitoring and status to standards. Explores and develops new services and revenue streams.
  • Provides or arranges for clinical direction or supervision to all members of the care management and treatment teams. Provides or arranges for in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, including best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services.
  • Assures all paperwork, billing tickets and documentation is completed in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Works with support supervisor and medical records to ensure that all regulatory standards are followed.
  • Participates as a member of agency and community committees, councils and attends various meetings.
  • Participates in the selection and hiring of therapists and other personnel actions as needed.
  • Serve as the liaison between the Regional Program Director and the local county service center.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Special Attributes: Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Must possess strong clinical skills, a vast knowledge base of mental health and substance abuse disorders and vigor to continue the learning process. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on-site supervision to up to clinical care managers, care manager extenders as well as other clinical staff. Additionally provides administrative oversight to support and medical teams.

Education and/or Experience: Master’s level fully or provisionally licensed LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT or RN. Three years’ experience providing care management, case management, or care coordination to the population served.

Certificates, License, Registration: Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Practicing Psychologist.
