Overview

Daybar Xpress is currently seeking to add a Customer Service/Order Entry representative to our growing team in Atlanta, GA.

As a Customer Service/Order Entry Representative, you will be the primary contact for customers as they place orders, communicate schedule changes and request product pricing and availability information. You must have the flexibility to adjust to all environments, behaviors and situations as needed. The position requires an individual with an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with a sense of urgency and positive attitude that enjoys working in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Responding to customer inquiries pertaining to quotations, order status, and shipping information
• Order entry
• Interfaces with sales staff, manufacturing, shipping & finance departments in support of providing excellent customer service
• Solving customer delivery and material challenges
• Interacting with operations on behalf of the customer
• Shares telephone coverage responsibility when receptionist is not available
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• commercial steel door, frame and hardware knowledge a plus
• have a high attention to detail and accuracy
• be an effective communicator
• have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
