We’re looking for a full-time, staff Storage Planning Specialist to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA.
As the Storage Planning Specialist, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Plans receipt, storage, and allocation of production or general stores material. Ensures all storage compatibility and capacity requirements are followed.
  • Directs truck and rail movements to point of loading or unloading.
  • Maintains records of vehicle contents, trailer and car numbers, carriers, and crew assignments. Maintains records of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Receives material requests from production expediters/planners and coordinates delivery and pick-up.
  • Assist Storage supervision on crew assignments, load planning, storage availability and warehousing efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
This role is for you if you have these skills:

And if you have these qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates degree from two-year college preferred.
  • 1-3 years in Warehousing, Material Handling, Logistics, Supply Chain, Dispatch, Customer Service Call Center, or related position.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; SAP experience preferred.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.
