Job Summary:
We are expanding out team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental assistant and/or Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of medical and dental instruments to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical and dental instruments following established protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready for procedures
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and equipment
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Assist with the organization and stocking of supplies in clinical areas
- Monitor and document sterilization processes accurately
-Assist the doctors with procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Review treatment plans and finances with patients
-Schedule patients
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical documentation
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus
- Understanding of X-Ray procedures and medical imaging techniques
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is advantageous
- Ability to handle medical records with confidentiality
