Day-Break at Waterbury is Hiring a Wheelchair Van Driver Near Waterbury, CT

Day-Break is searching for a responsible, reliable, experienced driver to safely transport program participants to and from our adult day facility, trips, and appointments. We are looking for candidates interested in the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our participants each and every day.

Requirements:

-Valid CT Driver's License- License MUST have a PSL (F) Endorsement

(Note: CDL License is also acceptable, but not required for this position)

-Safe driver

-Experience operating wheelchair lifts

-Customer Service Skills

-Bilingual English - Spanish Required

Applicants must be available to work Wednesday - Saturday. Average 25-30 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Language:

  • English AND Spanish (Bilingual highly preferred) (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CT Driver's License with PSL Endorsement (Required)
