Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a vehicle including truck and trailer to transport Tarps to designated locations in and out of state. Job will require you to be out of town 3 nights per week on average.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
- Plan and follow designated routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a route driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations or delays during deliveries
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required
