Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is willing to learn, to become a Locksmith. Our company is a family owned, growing Locksmith Company of 25 years, serving the community in The Woodlands and surrounding areas. Are you seeking to learn a trade that offers growth and development? We're looking for someone to undertake a comprehensive apprentice training program to become a member of our team.

Duties:

• Learn basic locksmith skills within a 90-day probationary period.
• Rekey/repair standard residential and commercial cylinders.
• Cut keys and make duplicates including code keys.
• Pick open locks to open locks without keys.
• Perform car openings.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their security needs.
• Assist with safe moving and installation and combo changes.
• Operate key cutting machines and small power tools.
• Utilize safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

• Work under supervision and learn from mentors.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Listen to and follow instructions.
• Recognize your own limitations and seek support when required.
• Make skillful, controlled manipulations of small objects to assemble locking devices.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some locksmith experience preferred.
• Hard working and a team player with a desire to continually learn and improve skills.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Local to The Woodlands/Spring area.
• Must meet state requirements for registration.
• Punctual, reliable, honest and trustworthy.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
