Job Responsibilities
- Lesson plan creation based on the Creative Curriculum that adheres to Common Core Standards.
- Teaching students in class, small groups, and one-on-one situations as needed.
- Developing schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Maintaining records of student progress, interest, and other anecdotal information to keep parents informed of their child's development.
- Organizing and structuring activities based on children's needs.
- Redirecting students to ensure proper student behavior.
- Create and support family engagement activities.
Requirements for Employment
- Must have an Associate degree in Early Childhood Development or an Associate degree in another discipline with at least 9 credits in Early Childhood Development.
- 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Development.
- Experience in executing lesson plans and following a curriculum.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Up to date health certificate and TB test or willingness to obtain
- Drug and Alcohol testing
- Ability to pass background and fingerprinting check
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds as needed
- A commitment to further education and training
