QUALIFICATIONS:
The following criteria will be used in selecting the position listed above to determine the best qualified coach:
Must be able to relate well to high school students, parents, high school personnel, and the general public.
Experience as a high school head varsity cheerleading coach preferred.
Must have the organizational ability to coordinate a cheerleading program in grades five through twelve.
Must be able to work with and give directions to assistant coaches and other related personnel.
Previous high school varsity cheerleading participation preferred.
Consideration will be given to cheerleading experience at the college level.
Must have a minimum of two years of cheerleading coaching experience on the high school level.
Must possess a detailed understanding of cheerleading coaching situations and strategy as determined by the interviewing process.
Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
SALARY: Per DEA Master Agreement

Bloodborne Pathogens
CPR/AED Certification
Concussion in Sports Training
Must sign up & complete, within 6 months, the MHSAA Coaches Advancement Program (CAP) I or II.
