Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing Minimum Experience: One-year previous clinical experience in area of expertise or Licensed Paramedic with a minimum of 1-year runtime experience, preferably current or Successful completion of Nurse Externship in an emergency department with two letters of recommendation Required Training: BLS ACLS and PALS must be obtained within one years of hire Required License/Registration: Current WV RN License Preferred Training: TNCC Physical Demands: Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching Prolonged standing and walking Considerably heavy lifting. Lifts, positions, pushes, and transfers patients, supplies, and equipment Working Conditions: The Emergency Department can, and often is, a fast paced and demanding work environment that requires the ability to multitask, think quickly, and work effectively as a critical team member.
