Davis Eye Center is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Cuyahoga Falls, OH

We also expect employees to embrace the passion of helping others and bring a personal touch to each patient’s experience. We are looking for an OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN to join our growing team!

Position Requirements:

Previous experience is great but certainly not required. We have an excellent training program; therefore, with an energetic personality and willingness to learn we can provide you with the necessary skills to be a great technician.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare exam rooms and patients for eye examinations
  • Perform preliminary eye testing
  • Assist with patient procedures
  • Coordinate patient flow
  • Occasional travel to support nearby offices may be requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (per ADA guidelines): Physical Activity: Standing for sustained periods of time, Stooping, Grasping, Lifting, Talking, Hearing. Physical requirements: Light work. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs from shoulder to overhead.

The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
