Lead Sign Installer

Colorado's leading sign manufacturing company is seeking a deadline-driven, self-motivated individual with installation and construction knowledge. DaVinci is proud to be the only Colorado sign company that is Employee Owned.

Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.

Duties and responsibilities:

Install signs of all types including wall signs, electronic message centers, pylon signs, post and panel, etc.

• Ensuring that signs meet clients' specifications in terms of spelling, font, size, and medium.
• Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.
• Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.
• Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign.
• Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols.
• Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.
• Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.
• Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Good knowledge of various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs, and road signs.
• A sound understanding of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures.
• The ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
• The ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as needed.

Qualifications:

Four years of experience in sign installation

A clean driving record and valid CDL driver’s license are a must.

Crane certification a plus.

Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.

Experience using small hand tools is required.

Experience operating related sign installation equipment such as cranes and augers.

Basic construction knowledge is required.

Must be able to read and understand scaled drawings.

Must be able to problem-solve.

Willing and able to learn new skills.

Basic electrical knowledge and skills.

Strong customer service skills.

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Must be able to handle details, paperwork, and documentation of all work in a professional manner.

Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Possess basic hand tools and cordless drill, impact.

Physical Requirements:

Applicant must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Must be able to drive and have reliable transportation.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Some overnight and out of town travel may be required.

Will be required to work in all types of weather conditions.

Benefits:

Wage is dependent upon prior experience and knowledge, ranging from $30 to $42 per hour. Benefits for full-time employees include:
