Davidson Ford of Clay has immediate openings for an Automotive Maintenance Technician with a NYS Inspector's License to join our busy service department! Pay Range: $19-$24
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keeps advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Valid New York State Inspectors License.
- General maintenance.
- Brake repair.
- Tires (Mount and balance, repair, road force balance).
- Alignments.
- Suspension diagnosis and repair.
- Exhaust repair.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Welding training/experience.
- ASE certifications.
- Up to 2 weeks vacation time at the time of hire, based on experience.
