David's 388 is a small community-oriented restaurant located in the heart of South Portland, Maine. With a focus on culinary excellence and exceptional service, we strive to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are currently seeking a talented Server/Bartender to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

● Provide exceptional service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

● Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers, with precision and attention to detail.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and equipment (When scheduled on bar.)

● Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and anticipating their needs.

● Collaborate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for guests.

● Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures, including responsible alcohol service practices.

Requirements:

● Previous experience in restaurant environments preferred.

● Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, with the ability to create innovative and well-crafted drinks. OR A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN!

● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks.

● Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

● TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus.
