Summary of Duties
The CMA Scribe is present during the provider’s performance of clinical service and documents (on behalf of the provider) everything that said which reflects the services provided. Documents provider interaction with patients, medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment plan and follow up instructions. Assist the provider with administrative tasks such as ordering tests, referrals, and prescriptions. Documentation is legible and accurate in paper format or into an electronic health record.
