Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various painting and labor tasks to support construction and renovation projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Repair and maintain existing painted surfaces
- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, setting up equipment, and cleaning work areas
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in construction painting or related field preferred
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with concrete finishing, drywall installation, stucco application, caulking, plastering, and other maintenance person tasks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
