Strategic Responsibility:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for providing revenue and cost accounting as well as reporting analysis to support the ministry's operations. The position is also responsible for providing oversight over all operational functions related to inventory. This includes analyzing and developing gross margin plans, processes, and procedures that will effectively support DCC' and Integritys growing and emerging new products and business lines.
Job Description:
Account, analyze, and report revenue for eBooks and other publishing income.
Establish, update, and analyze unit cost for Books, Curriculum, and Music.
Track monthly Inventory Receipts for all products and manage related print and freight invoices.
Reconcile all Inventory, WIP, and various related accounts monthly and determine appropriate reconciling and adjusting journal entries.
Monitor warehouse transactions, makeups, breakups and inventory disposals.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Formal Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Experience: 3-5 years overall accounting or finance experience.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with specific emphasis on Excel. Understanding and knowledge of finance, accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory analysis preferred. Excellent spreadsheet skills. Good communication skills. Ability to solve and identify system/process efficiency opportunities. Ability to plan own schedule and take initiative. Must be detailed and perform work accurately.
Equipment Knowledge: MS Office, Excel, Word required. Database experience. JDE experience helpful. NetSuite experience preferred.
