Salary: $22 - $30 hourly (Depending on experience)

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment Operator to our passionate team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Job Duties

What You'll Do:

  • Operate mobile equipment during tree pruning and removals.
  • Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients.

Including but not limited to:

  • Operate tractors, excavation equipment, stump grinders, log trucking equipment and more
  • Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy
  • Installation of cables, bracing and lightening protection systems
  • Transport necessary equipment to local job sites in theimmediate, localarea
  • Removal of hazardous trees
  • Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
  • Be part of the most progressive greenspace stewardship team in the industry!
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Love of the outdoors
  • Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
  • Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Required: Valid driver's license
  • Required: Class A CDL
  • Preferred: Relevant tree care and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
