Primary Function

The Production Planning Analyst will lead the production scheduling, order management, supply management and sales order entry to meet the production schedule requirements. Responsible for the overall status of order fulfillment and managing inventory levels throughout the manufacturing process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Assists with adjusting the production schedule to ensure desired schedule is completed in a timely manner.

2. Ensures timely and accurate order entry process is executed.

3. Communicates with customer on delivery confirmation and delivery status.

4. Assists with evaluating weekly ERP demands and is responsible to determine scheduling deadlines and inventory quantities.

5. Responds to ERP system recommendations and adjusts manufacturing schedule (s) accordingly.

6. Interfaces with the production manager and plant supervision to resolve concerns regarding schedules, orders, and special needs.

7. Evaluates customer orders and solves backorder issues.

8. Prepares weekly production reports & build schedules.

9. Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Work-related experience equivalent to two years of production planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of production planning techniques and material control principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates computer skills -preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs. ERP experience preferred.
