    August 2022 Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
    • Provide Tier 3 literacy instruction for scholars in grades K-6
    • Strong ability to adapt instruction and lessons based on individual scholar needs
    • Provide rigorous instruction using district supported curriculum (95% Group PLL (Phonics Lesson Library), 95% Phonological Awareness, Kilpatrick, and Orton-Gillingham with fidelity.
    • Follows the Intervention Systems guide for program fidelity and when adding intensifications to interventions.
    • Actively participate in the monthly District Reading Interventionists CTT meetings and weekly google classroom CTT prompts.
    • Provide ongoing progress monitoring data and assessment information to classroom teachers, SIT team, and administration
    • Engaged member of the building SIT team
    • Collaborates weekly with a literacy coach and/or innovator on Progress Monitoring data and intervention effectiveness.
    • Create and maintain positive learning environments contributing to a positive climate and culture consistent with PBIS.
    • Ability to take initiative and direction from elementary program director and other curriculum supports
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times in regards to parent and scholar interactions
    • Successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse scholarsand their families to ensure that each scholar reaches his/her full potential.
    • Strong collaboration skills; facilitates and designs effective team work.
    • Utilizes available technology to engage scholars in high academic rigor
    • Punctual and consistent attendance record
    • Other duties as assigned based on District needs

    Physical Requirements of Position: (HBV Yes No)
    • Able to walk up and down stairs
    • Able to lift 50lbs
    • Able to stand for long periods of time
    • Able to be outside for long periods of time
    Special Qualification Desired: (Personal Qualities, Education, Skills Needed, Experience, Etc.)
    • Reference from building principal or administrative leader
    • Have a reading endorsement
    • Preferred experience with, 95 Percent Group, Kilpatrick, Visual Phonics, and Orton-Gillingham
