The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit women's membership organization located in Washington DC, has a full-time opportunity in our DAR Insignia Store for a Member Service and Operations Associate. Our DAR Insignia Store sells jewelry quality pins and related items to members across multiple sales channels.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Accepts, processes, and fulfills member/customer orders from the online store, mail, phone, and other channels.
  • Assists customers with navigating the DAR Insignia Store website and placing orders online.
  • Provides service and support for state conference on-site sales and pop-up shop sales.
  • Assists in managing Insignia inventory and maintains a knowledge of Insignia materials and products.
  • Coordinates order processing with in-house engraver and manufacturer.
  • General office duties such as answering phones, filing, and collating.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in retail and/or e-commerce customer focused environment.
  • Experience in a customer order processing and fulfillment environment, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
  • Highly proficient using inventory/order management and POS system software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to respond quickly to customer requests or questions.
  • Experience in retail business inventory management and loss prevention practices.
  • Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to travel to DAR conferences and provide support to off-site sales.

Benefits :

  • This position can be considered for hybrid remote work-after onboarding and training. Flexible work hours and compressed work week options are also available.
  • Hiring salary range starts in the low-forties and goes up to $55,000 with the final determination based upon the candidate's overall experience.
