The Company:

Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor, and they are looking for an Engineering Aide to join their team. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Archbald, PA and is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 18 Months with a pay rate of $21.00/hr. This role is on-site so you should be comfortable commuting to, Archbald, PA. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Details:

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Prepare test and evaluation reports. Submit final acceptance reports to program management for approval and delivery. Update JIRA with status provided by engineering staff and ensure proper status of all contract items.

What to Expect as an Engineering Assistant:

· Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

· Knowledge of JIRA software.

· Effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.

Qualifications for Success:

· High School Diploma (No Bachelor’s Degree Required)

· Works under only general direction.

· Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
