Investigator
work hours- 9:00AM TO 5:00 PM
lunch period- 1 hour (unpaid)

Activities include assessing and evaluating incomplete and unverified initial information;
Coordinating investigative and fraud detection work with management and other stakeholders;
Developing sources of information; obtaining, analyzing, and properly safeguarding potential evidence;
Applying applicable legal and professional standards;
Identifying and locating witnesses and suspects; conducting and documenting interviews;
Resolving deceptive, misleading, conflicting and incomplete data;
Documenting investigative work and findings;
Preparing comprehensive investigative and fraud detection reports; presenting investigative and fraud detection results to internal decision makers such as senior management;
Briefing law enforcement officials and prosecutors;
Supporting legal actions and participating in other post-investigation activities such as providing testimony at depositions, hearings, and trials.
Skills and Experiences of Temporary Investigator:
Good oral and written communication
Professional phone etiquette
Experience in responding to or investigating complaints, or with managing problem resolution.
Knowledge of mortgage underwriting, mortgage servicing, or consumer lending, a plus.
Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, SharePoint
Ability to effectively manage a pipeline of several cases.
