DataStaff is in need of a Senior Oracle Database Developer for one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area for a long-term contract opportunity.
*This position is hybrid; the selected candidate must work onsite 1-2 days per week.
Required Experience:

• Experienced PL/SQL developer with skills in Oracle coding
• Must also have ability to do data analysis, develop requirements and data models.
• Must have background in application backend support, Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL server development.
• Must have background in building interfaces between business applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum process is highly desired.
• Ability to communicate with business users and developers an absolute must.
• Clear communication skills - written and oral is REQUIRED.

Required Skills:

• 10 Years - Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development.
• 10 Years -Written and oral communications
• 8 Years -Background in data integration between business systems
• 8 Years -Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editing

Desired Skills:

• 6 Years -Requirements analysis and data modeling
• 6 Years -Experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM DataStage, web services, messaging and other modern data warehousing
