DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Des Moines, IA
*This position is hybrid, 2 days per week will be onsite
Responsibilities:

• Be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications using Agile methodologies.
• The project aims to modernize the UI Tax system by re-architecting its components to industry leading architecture and frameworks, with the goal of providing better service to both the agency staff and the end-users while positioning the agency for future technological improvements.
• Responsible for preparing gathering and validating requirements, preparing requirement and process mapping documentation, and facilitating requirements sessions with business stakeholders and leadership.
• The ideal candidate is a leader and strong team contributor who is eager to learn and develop their craft as a software professional and will find great satisfaction in the patient pursuit of excellence.

Required Skills:

• 10 Years - Involvement in prior technology implementations
• 10 Years - Leading requirements gathering and validation with staff
• 10 Years - Developing requirements documentation - Use Cases
• 10 Years - Testing system functionality against requirements and specifications.
• 10 Years - Training staff on system functionality as developed.
• 10 Years - General technical assistance
• 10 Years - Experience documenting end to end processes
• 10 Years - Background in Finance/Financial projects
• 10 Years - Experience mapping and documenting process flows
• 5 Years - Experience using Atlassian Suite - Jira, Confluence, etc.
