In your role as a Sales Operations Coordinator, you will report to our COO. Your work location will be in Westlake, OH.

You will work with our Sales and Operations Teams to support the creation of customer-facing proposals and the internal work processes to support them. In addition, you will interact with both customers and vendors of DataServ to support all pre-sales initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Become familiar with DataServ policies and procedures
  • Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors
  • Project manage activities involving multiple company teams for pre-sales initiatives, including:
    • Managing sales quote process from request to delivery
    • Reviewing sales quotes for accuracy, consistency and profitability
    • Communicating and working with both manufacturers and distributors
    • Negotiating and tracking vendor registrations, discounts and sales programs
  • Customer relationship management, including:
    • Participating in customer sales calls and status meetings to document and track next steps
    • Acting as a liaison between customer, sales and project teams
  • Internal systems activity, including:
    • Maintaining quality data in systems to analyze for reports
    • Maintaining documentation for quarterly quota objectives
    • Developing processes, implementing effective workflow and embracing best practices
    • Processing both customer purchase orders and internal projects
  • Provide redundancy and backup support for other team members
    • Participating in contract support as part of ongoing maintenance activities
    • Assisting customers in understanding coverage levels for their support contracts
    • Maintaining knowledge about equipment warranties and coverage options
  • Assist with marketing efforts
  • Coordinate conference activities
  • Be a supportive team member to others
  • All other duties as assigned

What we require:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant prior work experience
  • Experience in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM preferred
  • Experience with technology manufacturers (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Dell, etc.) preferred
  • Pre-employment drug screening required
  • Pre-employment driver’s license and background checks required
