JOB TITLE --- Subcontracts Admin
LOCATION ----- Houston,Texas,77002 - HYBRID Work
Duration ----- 12 Months Contract (Extendable)
Pay Rate - $29/hr w2
Description:
Candidates will work remotely from home but must be a resident in the Houston area. They will need to go to the office for meetings and training as required.
Review procurement files to generate subcontract closeout documents and change orders to ensure compliance prior to issuance and closeout of each file to mitigate risk and liability to Client.
Work with functional areas to obtain information and documentation needed for closeout.
Ensure subcontract files are in accordance with established procedures prior to closeout.
Track progress and provide status of assigned closeouts.
Understand basic accounting concepts to calculate amounts paid and remaining amounts per subcontract line.
Must prioritize learning Client policies and procedures in order to complete roles and responsibilities.
Required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Understanding basic accounting concepts is highly recommended.
Exceptional attention to detail, data-driven mindset, analytical problem solver, self-motivated, takes initiative, and provide comprehensive work product
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Previous government subcontracting experience is a plus.
Previous compliance related work experience is a plus.
