Job Description
JOB TITLE --- CNC Press Brake Operator
LOCATION ----- St Louis MO - 63132
Duration ----- 6 Months Contract (Extendable)
Pay Rate is $26.86/hr
Note –
1st Shift (6am to 2:30pm)
Onsite Interviews
Must pass written Class 1 Fabricator test.
Must supply own safety toe shoes, long pants, short/long sleeve, no Tank Top
All other PPE supplied.
Description:
Trumpf True Bend Press Brake Operations.
Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will monitor production output and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, set up and monitor the production of parts and continuous process improvement at the site to address safety, production, and adherence to quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and read blueprints.
- Set up and operate machines to start production cycle, including calibration, tolerances.
- Set up and change over equipment tooling and dies.
- Write and interpret CNC programs when needed.
- Ability to analyze information and concepts.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
- Periodically test and troubleshoot machine operation and output.
- Maintain work area for cleanliness.
- Adherence to all safety and plant rules.
- Record and report production data.
- Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors.
- General maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Safe operation of the forklift and all other lift assist and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Technical education is a plus.
WE VALUE
- 3 years of experience in metal processing and machine operation. (Class 1)
- 1 year experience in metal processing and machine operation. (Class 2)
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools. HAAS, MAZAK, and Manual Mill, MAZAK lathe, Trumpf lasers and press brake experience is a plus.
