Sr. SQL Developer/DBA / DIRECT CLIENT / W2 ONLY / Remote or Charlotte, NC

One of our premium customer is looking for a Senior SQL Developer/DBA to create scalable, reliable & stable database applications. You will enforce Database standards and security working closely with application development teams, System DBAs and Architects to drive recommendations and plan for deployments.

Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and research skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing current SQL queries and recommending new ones to boost performance
• Analyzing the server resource utilization, and making improvements as required
• Develop high-quality database solutions
• Making use of T-SQL to create, implement, and improve functions and processes
• Research required data
• Making data migration scripts and procedures
• Investigating any exceptions that may apply to asset fluctuation

Required experience:

• SQL Server
• SSMS, SSIS, SSAS
• Power shell
• Azure Dev Ops
• Agile development methodologies

Preferred / Optional experience:

• AWS
• SAFe agile
• Snowflake
• Datalake

Open for Remote work, but customer would highly prefer candidates who are local to Charlotte, NC.
