Database Technology is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Farmington, MI

Job Role: Electrical Technician
Location: Farmington Hills, MI
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Basic Electrical debug skills using tools like Multimeters, Oscilloscopes etc
  • Understanding of operating principles of Relays, contactors, Switches and other electro mechanical components
  • Understanding of how to use debugging tools like probes, test points, jumpers and Wire Crimping tools
  • Understanding of operating basic electrical components like Resistors/Capacitors/ inductors along with stepup and step down transformers and Line reactors
  • Understanding of operation of 3 phase and 1 phase AC power supply, regulated DC power supplies, Switching power supplies
  • Experience working with Variable frequency drives and motors will be an added advantage.

Candidate needs to be:

  • Well-versed in both DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles
  • Having proven experience of resolving issues/fixing test fixtures (electrical) designed to adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Able to use logical thinking, systematic analysis, and creative problem-solving to diagnose and resolve wiring and connectivity problems.

  • BE

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.70 - $35.54 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Experience:

  • Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Multimeter: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Oscilloscope: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Debugging: 1 year (Preferred)
