Responsibilities

RFP Identification & Analysis

• Identify, analyze, evaluate and select RFP opportunities through bid sites, etc.
• Attend pre-bid conference calls.
• Track win-loss information to leverage experience from successful proposals / wins to develop strategies for winning submissions.
• Identify areas for future improvement and / or recommend enhancements to products or services.
• Use historical data from similar projects to identify estimation corrections.

Proposal Development & Compliance

• Develop and establish a repository of templates, and standard language to create consistent, and accurate RFP responses with the use of a technical project management process.
• Ensure Proposals are compliant, technically and financially sound, well-written, maximize business opportunities, meet deadlines, and mirror the company mission and culture.
• Ensure proposals adhere to brand guidelines, formatting standards, and best practices.

Communication & Cross Collaboration

Collaborate with sales, bid managers, professional services and marketing to clearly articulate a winning strategy.Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and inputs for proposals.

Coordinate and lead RFP proposal review meetings and follow-up actions to address feedback and revisions.Resolve escalated issues and coordinate with other departments.

Ensure all legal aspects of solicited proposals have been reviewed by contracting / legal to best protect the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of experience, education and / or training may be substituted.
• 3 years of experience in proposal / RFP writing.
• Certification from an accredited cost estimation or business analyst organization a plus
• Experience in a sales capacity for state or local government agencies, or other vertical markets a plus.
• Technical knowledge of OnBase, Esker, Nintex and Data Intake concepts is a plus.
• Must have RFP experience with Professional Services, Software and SaaS
• Must know Microsoft Suite, Adobe, Salesforce, and SaaS.
• Experience with contracts, researching and developing sources of RFPs and preparation of proposals.
• Strong attention to detail and grammar skills to draft and synthesize information.
• Great at assessing the situation and working under pressure.
• Manage multiple RFPs and meet short deadlines.
• Minimal travel may be required to support sales training, attend partner conferences or attend team meetings may be required.
