Role Description:

• 8 years of hands-on experience in architecture, design or development of enterprise data solutions, applications, and integrations
• Experience creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, physical and semantic data models
• Knowledge of data architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them
• Hands-on experience with modern enterprise data architectures and data toolsets (ex: data warehouse, data marts, data lake, modeling tools, profiling tools)
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple teams, both technology and business executives
• In-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data principles
• Good knowledge in various ETL tools and data sanitization
• Proven analytical skills
• Prior experience with database systems (e.g., Exadata, NoSQL, Cassandra, Neo4j, etc.)

• In your screening process, look for items around 3NF (3rd normal form), normalization, or Inmon. We are getting a lot of “fact and dimension”, but that is not a good discriminator in understanding the mixed methodology we are using. Candidates that understand these terms would rate higher in our evaluations. We are not looking for perfection, but this understanding is important.
