Low Voltage Technician/Installer

Description

As a Low Voltage Technician/Installer, you will be responsible for installing and servicing alarm, video and access control systems for customer locations.

Essential functions:

  • Provide on-site installation and service on low voltage systems | Alarm Systems, Access Control, IP Based Surveillance Systems
  • Organize and manage truck stock - parts and tools
  • Organize and update work related documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience installing ALARM, ACCESS CONTROL and IP BASED SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend and stoop.
  • Ability to navigate the Internet and internal documentation to locate solutions.
  • Understanding of MS Windows functionality, Networking and basic PC hardware troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Must be open to change and act as an early adopter of new technology.
  • Must display a strong sense of urgency, maintain a professional presence and demonstrate business acumen.
  • Risk management and organizational skills desired.
  • Demonstrate the ability to receive direction and provide assistance to other team members.
  • Maintain positive interaction with customers
  • Attend customer meetings and conduct customer training, as needed
  • Maintain a clean cut appearance

Bonus Experience :

  • AESBL License preferred. Willing to train candidate with strong electrical knowledge and computer skills

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
