Driver and Route Sales Representative (Golden, CO)

Data Destruction offers document shredding, digital media shredding and wiping, and electronic recycling services in the Denver Metro Area.

This is a great opportunity to help build business and service the Denver Metro Area. There is unlimited potential for growth for the right person! You should have exceptional customer service skills, a clean driving record, the ability to drive a 24 foot, non-CDL document shredding truck and feel comfortable calling on small to large local businesses in between jobs. You will drive one of our company trucks to shred documents on location in a specialized document shredding truck, communicate with the customers about their job, keep track of quantity of paper, fill out required paper work, and do regular required vehicle maintenance.
Most customer jobs will be pre-scheduled but when there is an occasional gap in the route, you will be required to visit other companies nearby to book new jobs. Data Destruction employees will be required to keep all customer information and documents secure during the entire process until the documents have been shredded. You must have the ability to think through the processes to ensure that documents are always secure and never left unattended.
Job Responsibilities:
* Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and work to give the very best possible service
* Drive the company truck to each scheduled location and visit with other potential customers
* Work closely with our company sales managers to accommodate new jobs while on daily route
* Help to develop an effective route plan each week
* Maintain all job reports and records each day
* Maintain and clean vehicle, equipment, and tools on a daily basis
* Work is to be performed under defined procedures, but good judgment and sales skills are essential.
* You will be trained on all services, equipment, and maintenance
* Work Monday thru Friday and occasional Weekends
* Be able to perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of experience driving a large non-CDL truck or even better, a document shredding truck
Clean driving record
Must pass background check and all drug tests
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
Be able to lift 40-80 lbs

Compensation for this position is an hourly wage of $19-23 based on experience. This is a full time position. We offer health insurance, 401-K benefits, and paid vacation, holiday and sick time.
