Job Type: Full time, onsite property assistant
Salary: Rent and utilities paid ($ wage to be determined)
Job description: Requires a self-motivated and customer service-oriented individual to assist the property manager, while maintaining a professional attitude, a clean appearance of oneself and the property and keeping open lines of communication with the staff.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and emails, assisting tenants, including taking messages and ensuring delivery of them to the proper person.
Learn the Check Inn software and become proficient at checking in new tenants, making room changes, posting payments and refunds when applicable.
Know the property Rules and Regulations and be prepared to enforce those when necessary, using the proper steps. For example, verbal warnings, written notices with fines and/or possible eviction.
Check and balance shift, prepare your daily deposit for the General
Manager and prepare change orders for them when necessary.
Collect and/or deliver tenants mail or packages.
Create and communicate a list to the General Manager any necessary property supplies needed for the office, housekeeping, maintenance and vending.
Always be conscious of code requirements and take the needed steps to prevent or correct any issues by taking care of it yourself or by assigning it to the proper team member to have it corrected and follow up with them to confirm its completion.
Always keep the lobby and common areas clean. When necessary, remove trash or cigarette butts, clean windows, floors, doors etc. or if necessary, assign them to the proper team member.
Be prepared to react to and navigate any fire alarms or medical emergencies.
Assist with or complete the weekly unit inspections required by Taney
County Health Department.
