Title

National Account Manager reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Salary

Base salary with commission- Commensurate with Experience.

Position Summary

Dasher Lawless is currently seeking a National Account Manager based in Warren, Ohio or the Midwest area. This is a full-time position, starting immediately. The selected candidate will be provided with an account package of current and potential clients. Applicant must be based in the Midwest area and willing to travel throughout the entire sales territory.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a National Account Manager capable of managing the sale of AUTOChargit an EV charging solution. The individual must be comfortable with interacting across a spectrum of disciplines including architects, engineering consultants, general contractors, and project managers. The ideal candidate will need to establish internal company contacts in Design, Construction, Engineering, and Manufacturing to obtain when necessary timely information for each client. The candidate must remain well organized, capable of quickly building a rapport with each client, and comfortable speaking one-on-one or to an entire team. This is to be the internal client advocate during the entire sales cycle and disseminate information both internally and externally to a range of stakeholders. The individual needs to be astute enough to pursue resolution to the client’s concerns across the sales cycle from initial inquiry to discovery, contract negotiations, design, delivery, and finally operations.

Qualifications

Verbal Communications – The candidate shall be capable of articulating the Dasher Lawless company message and the AUTOParkit product message in formal or informal settings.

Written Communications – The candidate shall be capable of generating formal and informal written responses in a timely, accurate, and concise manner.

Organizational Skills – The sell-cycle for these projects can last up to 36 months, so tracking information especially contact information, scope changes, and project deliverables is essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to track and follow-up on assigned action items, keep outstanding issues active until a resolution has been established, and forecast key project deliverables to the organization.

Marketing Skills – Remain engaged with the local markets for commercial development by attending events, reading relevant publications, and seek new emerging opportunities.

Teamwork – Have the ability to work across external and internal teams in a variety of roles such as and individual contributor or team lead. Capable of contributing to the establishment of objectives and adequate metrics to help track progress to each goal.

Technology Skills – Demonstrated efficiency in CRM, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook, MS-PowerPoint. Individual must be adaptable at understanding new technologies that will be incorporated into the product line.

National Account Manager Job Duties:

Meets national sales financial objectives by closing sales opportunities and maintaining an active accurate sales funnel.

Maintains and expands customer base by establishing new relationships; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.

Recommends product features, identifies new product opportunities and/or service changes. Conducts informal surveys or inquires with key clients to understand future needs and trends. Provides information on competitors within the region.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks.

Report and document sales opportunities, discuss sales strategy and provide relevant territory information on a monthly basis to the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Qualifications

BA/BS is a plus. 5 years of sales experience as a successful sales representative with experience in EV charging solutions. Demonstratable experience with new product development. Electrical sales or relevant work is a plus.
