Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
• Must be able to work a minimum of three weekends per month.
• Previous experience working with horses is preferred.
• Ability to drive a carriage and hitch wagon is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills are a must because this position interacts with guests.

Primary Job Duties:

• Set up & tear down wedding venues including moving tables, chairs, linens, and emptying trash cans.
  • Weddings are booked every weekend from April to November.
• Occasional Sunday work occurs.
• Park cars & direct traffic.
• Greet guests.
• Take guests on horse drawn carriage rides.
• Drive carriages & hitch wagons.
• Assist in daily animal maintenance such as groom, saddle, feed, and walk/lead horse rides.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Regularly required to sit or walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; use peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus; work in wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions.
• Frequently required to stand, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk, smell; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use distance vision. Subject to cleaning chemicals. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move over 100 pounds with team assistance or equipment, work in high places.
• The noise level is usually moderate to loud.

Work Attire – Varies based on activity or event, employees will be informed of expectations. No attire may be ripped, tattered, frayed, wrinkled, stained, revealing, or excessively tight.
