I'm looking for an Air Compressor Service Technician to service the Maryneal, TX area.

Location : Maryneal, TX

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000 Overtime Benefits

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive maintenance and servicing for compressed air systems, with a primary focus on Rotary Screw systems.
• This includes performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and addressing faults and failures, and, as necessary, utilizing pressure washing to thoroughly clean equipment such as skids, coolers, concrete surfaces, tanks, and more.
• Execute tasks encompassing disassembly, inspection, and reconstruction of entire units.
• Demonstrate self-discipline and the capability to work autonomously.
• Collaborate with other departments to find solutions for issues related to compressors, vacuum pumps, systems, blowers, and associated parts.
• Keep a vigilant eye on the operational condition of the facility's air compressors.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as designated.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting is essential.
• Familiarity with Sullair and Atlas Copco compressors is advantageous.
• Electric motors of 300 horsepower, driving compressors producing 4-500 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at pressures ranging from 175 up to 350 pounds per square inch (PSI).
• Familiarity with air dryers, including regenerative and refrigerated types, and automated drainage systems.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Three years of experience in air compressor repair (Required)
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory; preference given to those with a technical college degree.
• Possession of refrigeration certification is advantageous.
• Exceptional work ethic and proficient customer service abilities.
• Solid aptitude in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills.
• Own basic hand tools are required for job execution.
• A robust background of three years in installations, preventive maintenance (PM), and equipment repairs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintenance experience on air compressors
• Proficiency in computer skills, with familiarity in Windows.
