Job Overview: We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Movers. As a Mover, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving furniture, boxes, and other items for residential and commercial clients. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Duties: - Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto trucks or trailers - Safely secure items to prevent damage during transportation - Drive trucks or operate vehicles with manual transmission to transport goods - Follow established routes or directions to deliver items to the designated location - Assist with packing and unpacking belongings as needed - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns or inquiries - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during the moving process Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day - Experience driving tractor-trailers, box trucks, or other commercial vehicles preferred - Proficient in operating vehicles with manual transmission - Familiarity with loading and unloading techniques to maximize space utilization - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Note: This position may require occasional route driving using refrigerated trailers.
