Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AMFT (Associate Marriage and Family Therapist) to join our team. As an AMFT, you will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on a wide range of mental health and addiction issues. Duties:

- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions

- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans

- Provide counseling for gender issues and related concerns

- Utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to address clients' challenges

- Conduct addiction counseling for individuals struggling with substance abuse

- Conduct clinical research and contribute to evidence-based practices

- Document all client interactions accurately and maintain medical records

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

- Provide counseling for individuals with developmental disabilities

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of gender issues counseling

- Proficiency in coding and medical documentation

- Experience in addiction counseling

- Familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques

- Ability to work in a hospital or clinical setting

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies

Requirements:

- Must hold a valid AMFT license or be in the process of obtaining one

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
