Darby Doors, a division of US LBM, is seeking two Estimators for their Florence, Alabama location

Darby Doors, a division of US LBM, operates as two companies- Darby Doors, Inc. and Total Trim Inc. Darby Doors is a sales organization targeting the multifamily construction industry. Our efforts primarily concentrate on the eastern half of the United States. We provide metal doors and frames, pre-hung exterior and interior doors, windows, moldings, builders’ hardware, bath accessories, and much more.

How you will spend your days as an Estimator:

• Provide accurate and efficient single-family home and remodeling estimating to include using electronic systems, outsourcing take-offs, Millwork take-offs, entering complete estimate into quote system, and data & system backups
• Supervise, maintain, manage, and improve the Division material estimating and quoting systems as agreed with sales and store managers
• Coordinate and supervise all outsourced estimating
• Maintain quote files & logs and have complete familiarity with all aspects of Division quoting systems
• Develop skills as a Deering inside salesperson to include facets of contractor & consumer sales, quote interview & specification process, help with growing sales and service levels, follow through on commitments, obtain and maintain a well-rounded knowledge of building materials, and keep up with new products & construction systems
• Maintain great customer relationships

• Experience in construction industry
• Knowledge of doors, windows, and construction details
• Experience with residential material take-off and estimating
• Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written
• Familiarity with word and excel
