Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and electrical equipment such as control valves, transmitters, analyzers, motors, and electrical distribution systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Diagnose and resolve issues with process control systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Calibrate and configure instrumentation devices to maintain accuracy and reliability.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational goals and objectives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory levels.
Participate in training programs to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in instrumentation and electrical technology preferred.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the downstream oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of process control systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including API, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
