● Qualifications: BS or MS in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent preferred. 3 years of full-time professional work experience in the restoration, civil, geotechnical, marine, or heavy construction industry.

Project Manager: Duties and Responsibilities 

• Construction Management - Large Project Habitat Restoration
  • Lead construction management efforts, including contractor research and relationship management.
  • Conduct program planning and execution with a focus on developing mobilization and installation plans that maximize project outcomes.
  • Establish and implement stacking and installation methods and identify suitable installation and logistics partners.
  • Success Criteria: Acceptance of the installation methodology and establishment of strategic partnerships for logistics and contractors.
• Construction Management - Development of a 2-Tier Offering
  • Enhance our offerings to create turn-key nature-based solutions that utilize local marine construction companies, in partnership with a Tier 1 integrator, to improve construction efficiency, enhance client satisfaction, and improve consistency of outcomes.
  • Success Criteria: Creation of a program offering that drives at least 25% greater profitability per linear mile of shoreline treatment.

• Application Engineering - Reef Superstructures
  • Lead the development and deployment of reef superstructures that integrate multiple modular ExoForm units, proprietary reef modules.
  • Deliver these superstructures for large ongoing restoration projects in 2024.
  • Develop supporting technical literature and case studies in collaboration with engineering and marketing teams.
  • Success Criteria: Successful delivery of superstructures and comprehensive documentation.

• Application Engineering - Value Added Products
  • Innovate and implement additional product concepts including flow control structures, piling buddies, and rock base/scour pad replacements with support from engineering, marketing, and external partners.
  • Success Criteria: Successful introduction and integration of new products into existing construction projects and marketplaces. 

• Sales and Business Development Support
  • Success Criteria: Provide technical and construction enablement support to sales, marketing, and business development team members to advance company growth.

This position will work hand in hand with a Raleigh based technology company, Natrx, whom Danos is partnered with to provide solutions using 3D printed concrete structures called ExoForms (Cajun Coral). This candidate will possess current, or transferable skillsets that can make an impact immediately in various market spaces including:

• Artificial Reef Creations (Including Coral Reefs)
• Living shoreline construction to help combat the everyday effects of coastal erosion
• Midstream market space focusing on maintaining pipeline integrity by leveraging nature-based technologies
